ABOUT

VUUR aims to boost and host local research in the form of brief residencies, workshops, masterclasses, and lectures to open up the walls of the academia.
Altogether with the transfer of knowledge, the space is a production space in between art and design. 
The ceramic workspace is committed to ecology and craftsmanship. Based on these ideas, VUUR researches on two concepts: the introduction of innovative and sustainable materials and the making of a production that embodies the vision of the collective. The space offers to makers, artists, and designers a knowedge lab where they can learn and develop sustainable and local materials for their own practice. The collective is a hub for the local community to craft with a vision: combining accountability for the raw materials, regionality, and aesthetics.
Everything is made in-house, from graphic design to photography.



vuur collective is a ceramic workshop committed to circularity and craftsmanship in the heart of Amsterdam.
Through the clay gym the workspace is available for locals to make, learn, and gather.
