vuur collective is a shared ceramic atelier in Amsterdam exploring circular, locally sourced, and regenerative materials. The collective offers a non-institutional space where makers, artists, and designers can engage in circular practices and collaborative material research through workshops, lectures, events, and memberships.
Sundays the 12th & 19th of April 10AM - 1PM 2 sessions of 1:1 learning how to preparing glazes for ceramics from scratch with social designer and material researcher Benedetta Pompili.The course covers how to practically tackle the making of a glaze starting from local resources, including household waste (f.e. glass, eggshells), architectural waste (bricks, concrete), found materials (f.e. seashells, rocks) and industrial waste (f.e. ashes, iron).The workshop includes:
