ASSEMBLING CIRCULAR GLAZES w/ RR
Ceramic glazes are essentially a kind of glass. In industry, they are often produced with mined raw materials that can be highly toxic to both people and the environment. vuur collective explores a different, more circular path. In this workshop, we’ll experiment with ashes, stones, and other remnants from our surroundings to create safe and unexpected surfaces on clay. By working with what is already here, we discover new ways of glazing that are grounded, imaginative, and circular.

GROUP WORKSHOPS
For team building, private group, events and/or workshops* at ours please send us an email to vuurcollective@gmail.com to coordinate and talk possibilities. We are looking forward to hear your ideas and share the space with you.
We are particularly interested in hosting alternative and unique activites, that represent an unprecedented occasion to share knowledge that is circular, bioregional, overlooked or getting lost.
The makers that are selected by the team earn 90% of the revenues from the sales of the participants’ tickets. The collective keeps 10% to help with the logistics, documentation and admin. Firing(s) and material(s) costs are excluded. No fee is charged for using the space.
