ASSEMBLING CIRCULAR GLAZES w/ RR

Workshop ♯8: a beginners' workshop on making ceramic glazes from regional waste, reconnecting with materials at the end of their life cycle.
Ceramic glazes are essentially a kind of glass. In industry, they are often produced with mined raw materials that can be highly toxic to both people and the environment. vuur collective explores a different, more circular path. In this workshop, we’ll experiment with ashes, stones, and other remnants from our surroundings to create safe and unexpected surfaces on clay. By working with what is already here, we discover new ways of glazing that are grounded, imaginative, and circular.
In collaboration with Reparatie Remise 💝
1 session of 4 hours including pinching, preparing and applying the glazes.
Max. 8 participants
