vuur collective is a shared ceramic atelier in Amsterdam exploring circular, locally sourced, and regenerative materials. The collective offers a non-institutional space where makers, artists, and designers can engage in circular practices and collaborative material research through workshops, lectures, events, and memberships.

Two session introduction to handbuilding and glazing ceramics led by Hannah Rose Whittle. The first class will cover making with various handbuilding techniques, including pinch pots, slab building and coil building. Come along with your own ideas and make functional or sculptural objects.
The second class will cover the basics of glazing, you will finish with your very own glazed ceramic objects.
Please note:there is a week gap between classes to allow for drying and firing the objects before glazing.
